I’ve always had a particular fondness of mothers who have circumcised their male children. Whatever their motivation for circumcising, they all share in the basic fact that they are moms of circumcised boys. If their boys were circumcised as infants, they will have gone through the aftercare of circumcision, the careful cleaning and applying vaseline on the exposed glans; for that, I am most grateful. And most will have gone through the trepidation, followed by the amazement of what circumcision entails, and ultimately feel the pride and happiness of knowing they are mothers of circumcised sons.
