So, one year down the line now, how aware are you still of being circumcised? Are there times when you’ll move a certain way, and the fabric of your underwear will graze the head of your dick, and you’ll feel it and think “my glans is exposed” and start to become slightly aroused at the thought? Or has your mind fully settled into the idea that your glans is just an external part now, and all casual sensation is just normal, and no longer with a sexual slant to it?

Good question! I was used to keeping the skin back before I was circumcised, so the feeling of glans against fabric was not new to me, but of course it used to slip back occasionally and I was always aware of the foreskin being there. For the first few months after getting cut I was very aware of my exposed glans much of the time  and it felt strange reminding myself that it was now permanent and that the skin couldn’t slip back over the head. Now I hardly think about it – it feels completely ‘normal’ to have an exposed head and as you say, feels like any other external skin, without any associated arousal (most of the time!). I find it quite hard to remember what it was like to have a glans covered with a foreskin now.
